Giveaway! Erin Condren Life Planner

I’ve got some challenging deadlines writing both the Safeguard series (mercenaries, explosive action, strong heroines) and the True Heroes series (hot military heroes, the women who love them, and the dogs that always have their backs). The time management involved can be intimidating.

So you might have seen me get excited about Erin Condren Life Planners somewhere around social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) or heard me talk about them with Katee Robert and Robin Covington in my most recent #EMEPiper podcast episode. If not, shoo! Go check it out somewhere.

But come back!

Because I decided the Erin Condren Life Planner helped me organize my writerly life so much, I wanted to share the organization fun (really, it can be!). So to celebrate this Independence Day weekend (Happy 4th of July!) I’ve decided to give away an EC Rose Gold LIMITED EDITION 18-month life planner to one winner (open to Residents of the US only this time).

It’ll be enough to get you started in planner fun right away in July 2015 and take you right to the end of 2016.

Now that I’m a professional proofreader and by September I should be a certified Copyeditor, I’m trying to figure out a way to keep track of my clients and all the stages of their various books that I’m working on. It’s been a struggle. I keep eyeing the Erin Condren, but I’m not sure I want to spend the money on something new.

I weeble wobbled for a while before I got my first Erin Condren Planner – they’re a bit pricey. But I have to admit I’m a lot less stressed about my deadlines and I even find myself humming happily as I update my planner. Using the washi tape, stickers, and multi-colored pens entertains the creative side of me. :3

It’s definitely pretty! Plus, there’s so much out there on Pinterest and YouTube for ideas on how to decorate the inside of your planner with washi tape and stickers – I’m having a lot of fun. It’s a creative way to get organized. 😉

Current Goal is to get a more solid daily writing schedule. Trying to remove the time sucks that seem to pop out of nowhere!

This is one of my challenges too. Definitely.
I’m trying to track my daily word count when I’m drafting and chapter count when I’m editing to help me remember to do a certain amount each day instead of getting too caught up in time sucks.

Planning goals! Well…I just started reviewing books and I have a few things up my sleeve that I’m excited about. I need to get organized so I can get my books read and my reviews written in a timely manner…all while raising my three kids. And teenagers are BUSY!!

My goal? Meet all my deadlines, and continue to write at least two books plus a novella each year – until I can quit my day job and write even more!

I need to plan everything. I need to find some way of organizing my life, so I don’t seem overwhelmed. I do a lot of reviews for myself, my street teams, and the blogs I review for and this would nice to have.

I must have that planner! I think you are just amazing at juggling all of the things in your life (day job, writing career and time for friends and family) now I know what your secret is for being so organized – it’s that beautiful planner!!! 🙂

I basically need serious help with planning and remembering everything. I have a few autoimmune disorders that make me tired a lot, leave me in a “fog”, and then the meds don’t help with those problems. So I have to write down everything, especially dr appointments and such or I will completely space out and forget them.

Love EC!! Bought my first planner from her last year and LOVE it! Super helpful with my deadlines for work and posting reviews for authors that are kind enough to give me ARCs. Love the new styles thus year too. Looking forward to your books coming out! Super stoked!!

My planning goals for the rest of the year are to have by manuscript finished and ready for submission by the end of the summer, just in time for me to audition for a theatre company’s Halloween show: The Burning, which is about the Salem witchcraft trails. Then it’s thanksgiving and Christmas while I wait to see if I get a contract of not, all the while I start writing the next book.
